We all know how much more convenient it is to just throw away a soiled diaper, but there are many good sides to yes, the cloth diaper!

Cloth Diapers vs disposable diapers pros and cons!
I have two children, first one being a girl, and the second a boy. First time around her father wanted to do disposable diapers, mainly to help with cost since the economy at that time was pretty rough. I was only 20 years old and a new mom and disgusted at the entire topic! On top of that, where am I going to buy these, have the time for all the extra laundry, and go to work?! So that idea went to the roadside pretty quickly! I went with disposable diapers and right away, any off-brand diaper made her break out and have horrible rashes! We had to stick with Huggies. 11 years later, I become pregnant with my son, get to be a stay at home mom, had a little more patience and maturity under my belt, and started thinking, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. I did some research. Let me tell you, this time around it persuaded me. Now days, you have such cute ones that button, they come with different liners, and a lot more people do it. I found a brand I really liked off of amazon and I paid around $30 for 8 of them, which included 16 liners. They do pay for themselves after a few times! A lot of people said to buy at least 30 cloth diapers so that you could keep up with laundry. I didn’t do that. I only used them at home, and anywhere else I used disposable diapers. The convenience in public, and less worrying about where to put them, and many more factors played in my mind, and it was just way easier to take those when we were away from our home. Cloth diapers still make a great addition to help with the cost and it feels better on their tooshies. I personally just liked having both on hand!
You may want to give them a try. It isn’t like it was many years ago, it has come a long way! And if it’s not for you, you can just as easily head to the store for disposable diapers!
